Friday afternoon clinics are for medical emergencies only. Routine appointments will be available the following Monday morning.

Extended Access

GP opening hours have been extended for all Practices in the South of Tees CCG area -To improve Primary Care Services outside of normal hours; patients can now access the South Tees Access and Response (STAR) Service.  

To see or speak to a clinician urgently between 18:30 – 21:30 Monday - Friday or 08:00 – 20:00 weekends  & bank holidays please ring 111

During normal hours, please continue to contact Manor House Surgery.

When We Are Closed

Weekend and Night Cover

If you have a medical problem outside of normal surgery hours which will not wait until the next surgery time

  • If you need medical help dial 111 (NHS 111 service)
  • If it's an emergency (chest pains/shortness of breath, collapse, loss of consciousness or severe bleeding) dial 999

When to call 111

You should call 111 when:

  • You think you need to go the A&E department 
  • You think you need out of hours care
  • The practice is closed
  • You don't know who to call for medical help 

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath, collapse, loss of consciousness or severe bleeding constitute an emergency.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
